About the role

We are looking for a Lead Product Owner to have end-to-end accountability for delivery across technology products and where needed, across Business units. This will be achieved by managing the change delivery process, ensuring that selected internal and partner teams deliver; acquiring & utilising the necessary resources & skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales and quality. This role will also manage business product owners and other stakeholders, to ensure overall delivery of new technical products and features.

About You

You will have proven experience across enterprise product delivery with excellent knowledge of the best engineering practices in a commercial environment. Ideally you should have experience in most of the following areas:
Experience of delivering Integration (API, Event Streaming, File Transfer and Messaging) and Infrastructure (Azure and UNIX)projects in a multi-supplier environment
IBM and Azure experience Demonstrable experience of working in an agile environment and capable of deploying and working within the agile principles and methodologies
Understanding of Infrastructure as a Service, Containerisation etc and how it is applied to Integration patterns
Operates within agreed cost/time/quality parameters, Has sufficient credibility and gravitas, and ability to work with and relate to a highly demanding internal client base and complex external supplier base
Proven track record of managing multiple projects and managing onshore and off0shore teams
Stakeholder and project lifecycle (end to end) experience is required
Ideal candidate should be a self starter and be able to stand by their convictions within decision making.
Appreciation of how all the architecture, policies and governance are applied to delivery of the project
Excellent people management skills, able to manage upwards and influence in a complex environment
Proven experience of empowering, enabling, supporting and motivating product teams
Experience of going through the transformation from Waterfall to Agile delivery methodologies
