Full Job Description

  • Creating robust business cases to support logistics projects
  • Leading on the definition, initiation, execution and control of a portfolio of Logistics projects
  • Establishing a network of Logistics companies to facilitate the sharing, understanding and adoption of best practice Logistic
  • Consolidating the management information, based on metrics from the four industrial partners and independent stakeholders
  • Generating reports for the Logistics and SSNA programme Stakeholder for various levels of organisations, from senior management to logistic operatives, As a part of the Logistics and Inventory management team, you will be working with stakeholders from across various organisations, supporting a multibillion-pound long term complex programme. You will have a great chance to lead, shape and influence the direction of the programme through Outcome management whilst incorporating internal and independent feedback. This role will also offer you progression opportunities within the business. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.

    Project reporting and presentation experience
  • Ability to analyse, summarise and synthesise data
  • Proficient with MS Office - with advanced knowledge of Powerpoint and Word
  • Desirable
  • Knowledge of the UK Defence Sector and Submarines Enterprise
  • Experience working across multiple functions with multiple stakeholders
  • Project Management professional qualification (ie APMQ, PDMY, Prince2
  • Experience of delivering projects in a programme environment
