Job Title: Lead Project Professional – Delivery

Location: Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: From £45,628 depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Acting as the responsible Lead for all Programme Security
  • Delivering a variety of Security specific projects across the Programme.
  • Managing stakeholder engagement between the Programme and the Security Function.
  • Chair meetings held between the Programme and Security Function
  • Supporting other Business Operations teams as and when required
  • Deputising for the Project Manager as appropriate

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • APM qualified or equivalent by experience
  • Demonstrable experience delivery projects to strict deadlines
  • Strong stakeholder management experience with the ability to provide recommendations and effectively influence
  • Proven experience briefing or presenting information to senior leaders

Desirable:

  • Experience mentoring or leading a team
  • Previous experience in Defence or the Submarine Industry

The Dreadnought Programme Business Operations team:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Dreadnought Programme Business Operations Team, where you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of the Dreadnought Programme Security arrangements. Your efforts will ensure the Programme delivers a secure product by collaborating with the Site & Facilities and Safety teams. Additionally, you will oversee Capital Investments for the Programme. This unique role offers the chance to work with a diverse range of stakeholders, including the Senior Leadership Team.
