Full Job Description

  • Providing day to day direction and support to the project engineers
  • Responsible for day to day running of all units in their assigned yards
  • You will be the route of escalation for dependencies impacting assigned yards
  • Understanding and driving remaining scope to schedule, cost and quality
  • Analysing progress data and the impact on the delivery date and manage delays

    Defence Project Management experience, preferably shipbuilding
  • Experience managing complex projects and multiple deliverables
  • Desirables:
  • Line management experience
  • Experience working in a commercial setting
  • Document control skills
  • Solid experience using excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience of Teamcenter and SAP

  • The Dreadnought Strategic Outsource Team: The Dreadnought Strategic Outsource team is responsible for providing capacity relief to the Barrow site. The department delivers a number of products across all four boats. This role will provide you with the opportunity to work in a multi-functional team and have a meaningful impact for delivering key elements of the Dreadnought Submarine.
