Full Job Description
· Monitor and analyse Trust-wide compliance with the Sepsis NICE guidelines and act upon sub optimal practice.
· Provide Training and education to address knowledge / competency deficits.
· Act as a resource to the multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of the Sepsis priorities across the organisation.
· Assist in the implementation and review of Sepsis pathway, utilising local and national initiatives and guidance.
· Lead and participate in the preparation of information for audit and review of the effectiveness of the screening tool.
· In conjunction with the Clinical Lead for Sepsis, implement a Sepsis screening tool and pathway for treatment.
· Effectively lead and manage the sepsis nurse within the Sepsis team to ensure cohesive and effective teamwork.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Band 7 Sepsis CNS to work within our busy sepsis team. We aim to ensure the best care for patients with sepsis across the Trust.
This role is crucial in developing a Trust wide culture of delivering excellent care to patients with sepsis to achieve maximum survival and improved patient experience.
This role includes multidisciplinary working with our Trust Critical Care Outreach team, Resuscitation team, Acute Kidney Injury team, as well as other specialist nurses.
