Full Job Description

  • Manage the operational aspects of Technical Services including CIVAS, Cytotoxic services, PN and Non-sterile services in line with national standards.
  • Train pharmacy technicians and assistants in Technical Services.
  • Contribute to the current processes to provide a framework for actively ensuring Technical Services is run to the highest standards of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), in line with MHRA licensed unit requirements and Regional (SPS) QA guidance.
  • Support the Pharmacy Team Leader - Technical Services and the QA department in maintaining a complete and accurate Quality Management System.
  • The successful applicant will enjoy working in a busy challenging environment, be able to manage multiple priorities and deliver against tight deadlines. You will have good communication skills and be an enthusiastic educator. The ability to work autonomously and with a high level of accountability is essential.

The post holder will work to ensure the continued provision and development of high quality, comprehensive technical pharmacy service to patients.
