Our new trust website is: Home | North London Mental Health Partnership, This role is within the Oliver McGowan Project Team, who are responsible for rolling out the training across the North Central London (ICB). The lead trainer is responsible for delivering the learning disability and autism training to people who work in health and social care across the North Central London Region. The individual will also be responsible for the training of Oliver McGowan Trainers and Experts by Lived Experience as the program expands. While the role is across the NCL, the funding and employment of the role sits with Barnet, Enfield and Haringey.
As a member of our team you will be a role model for our Trust values, engaging managers and teams, designing programmes to strengthen capability and build a culture of excellence within the NCL., As the lead trainer you will have an in-depth understanding of learning disability and autism and you will have previous experience of delivering training to staff.
Fifty percent of your time will focus leading and support Experts by Lived Experience co-trainers who will be autistic people and people with a learning disability. Along with the co-trainers you will deliver training to health and social care staff across the NCL region.
Fifty percent of your time you will also be responsible for training new members of the OMMT delivery Team (Train the Trainer). This will include delivering training to facilitators and EBLE, quality assurance of training and evaluating feedback from attendees.
