This is a great opportunity for an experienced Vet who is confident in all routine surgical and medical cases. We are looking for someone who is passionate about training and developing the team. A specific area of interest in opthalmology, imaging or cardiology would be desirable.

Due to growth and expansion of the team and practice, Dr Lenesa Govender is looking for a friendly, experienced veterinary surgeon to join her team based in the market town of Epsom, Surrey.
  • The practice is ideally situated close to the town centre, is within a 7 minute walk of Epsom train station and also offers free onsite parking. You will work with modern state of the art equipment including digital X-ray, ultrasound with Doppler, a growing orthopaedic kit along with separate dog, cat and isolation wards. Lenesa is an experienced and confident veterinary surgeon having qualified 20 years ago in South Africa. She is joined by a talented and supportive team of 1 full time Veterinary Surgeon, 4 RVNs, two student nurses along with veterinary care assistants, receptionists and a practice manager. Lenesa offers a supportive and progressive work environment and is hugely supportive of further learning opportunities for all of her team. The practice is also an approved nurse training centre. The practice has a growing client base which means we see a wide variety of interesting cases! The practice offers 15 minute consults as standard but 30 minute consults for puppy vaccinations and new clients. The rota is structured to be as fair as possible and to ensure a great work/life balance., Pets just see people. They aren't biased and they don't discriminate. We take our inspiration from pets, and we value and respect difference in all its forms. Our aim is to reflect the diversity of the communities we operate in, and every colleague can help us achieve this. We encourage our people to be themselves so even if your skills and experience don't perfectly align, if you think you can make a unique contribution through your values and behaviours, we want to hear from you!

  • Salary up £80k (dependent on experience)
  • Full time or part time hours considered
  • Enhanced annual leave
  • Birthday leave
  • Flexible rota with a mix of early and late shifts
  • £2000 paid CPD and certificate supported & funded.
  • No OOHs responsibility
  • Contributory pension scheme
  • Paid memberships (RCVS, BVA and VDS)
  • Exclusive colleague discounts
  • Supportive and friendly work environment
  • If you would like to join our team and you share our passion for delivering outstanding pet healthcare and great customer service, then we would love to hear from you.
