Full Job Description
Our floating support services are designed to support vulnerable people, preventing homelessness, and enabling them to thrive in their communities. As part of our continued commitment to delivering outstanding care, we are seeking a passionate and skilled Senior Lead Worker to join our Telford & Wrekin team.
As a Senior Lead Worker, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team of support workers, managing complex caseloads, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred support to customers. You will be responsible for helping individuals maintain tenancies, improve financial stability, and enhance their overall independence. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to bring leadership and innovation to a dynamic support service., + Support the management team in overseeing the operational aspects of the floating support service, proactively ensuring timely and effective delivery in accordance with individual support plans, while remaining accountable for outcomes.
+ Manage a personal caseload of complex cases, tailoring support to meet customers' needs and drive positive outcomes.
+ Work in a trauma-informed and strength-based way, supporting customers to build resilience, independence, and self-reliance.
+ Provide support, coaching, and mentorship to lead workers, fostering a high-performance culture.
+ Ensure full compliance with safeguarding regulations and maintain accurate, up-to-date customer records.
+ Build and maintain strong partnerships with external agencies to support seamless service delivery.

+ Significant experience in housing-related support or homelessness prevention.
+ Demonstrable leadership experience, including managing a team and supervising complex caseloads.
+ Comprehensive knowledge of housing legislation, welfare benefits, and safeguarding practices.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage crises efficiently.
+ Proficiency in IT systems for case management and outcomes reporting.
+ Desirable: NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent), experience in trauma-informed and person-centred support environments.
