To join the Cert(CPD) Coronial Services: Professional Practice, you should meet the following criteria: - At least a Level 3 qualification (A-levels, vocational certificates, or equivalent). - Professional experience in coronial services or related fields is essential. - Applicants without the above qualifications may still be considered based on relevant work experience and may be required to attend an interview. - If English is not your first language, IELTS 7.0 (with no less than 6.5 in any band) or equivalent is required. What Will You Learn? On successful completion of the Cert(CPD) Coronial Services: Professional Practice, you will be able to: - Communicate effectively with bereaved individuals and families, providing support with empathy and professionalism. - Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams while respecting ethical and cultural considerations. - Demonstrate a deep understanding of the roles and responsibilities of coroners and coroners' officers. - Navigate legal, medical, and societal influences in coronial investigations. - Develop resilience and adaptability to manage the emotional and complex challenges within coronial services. - Use basic information technology tools for research and communication, essential for a professional context. - Demonstrate that you have achieved an accredited level of academic study.
