Full Job Description

Delivering what we promise, We are recruiting to cover all Yorkshire Water network areas. You will be based in one network area on an ongoing basis. Although we are based in Normanton, you would only be expected to travel directly to your network area for day to day operations.
As a Leakage Technician you will be part of our Network Optimisation team who are responsible for assisting the client in leak reduction. This will be achieved through various strategies such as the deployment and maintenance of various technologies as well as physical on site investigations.
You will be responsible for using various the technologies and strategies to investigate and diagnose points of interest and raising leaks to be repaired. Dealing directly with the client and forming excellent working relationships with them. Being responsible for administrative tasks such as compiling daily reports, submitting timesheets, completing accurate vehicle safety checks and carrying out risk assessments. Do you have experience working within a similar role with a demonstrable knowledge of leakage detection?
Experience of using leak noise correlators, utility tracing and reading schematics?
Are you able to learn new techniques and take direction?
Do you have a full driving licence? You will need to hold one to be considered for this role.
Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders both verbally and in written correspondence
Can you work to targets and to work well under pressure?
Ability to be customer focused and able to nurture and develop great working relationships
