Full Job Description
We are looking for a Lean and Business Improvement Lead to join our Infrastructure team in Newark on the A46 project. What you'll do:
- Lead on and establish a 'Lean' culture by rolling out Lean tools, techniques, training, and awareness across the project, including the relevant supply chain and partners (e.g. LCDP).
- Create and deliver a Business Improvement Delivery Programme. Support and develop the relevant strategies in place to deliver the tender commitments.
- Establish consistent Lean standards, processes and improve productivity.
- Deliver Lean reporting requirements and RDP Tender Commitments.
- Consistent process and procedure for knowledge capture and knowledge sharing.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop positive internal and external relationships at all levels. - Understanding of the customer needs and the ability to work creatively and lead with strategic goals.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Hold or be working towards a Lean Practitioner or equivalent qualification.
