Full Job Description
The role has primary responsibility for the provision of administrative support for Learner Services related activities on the Campus., The College is committed to safeguarding, ensuring the safety and welfare of children and young people. Employment is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service and registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) if appropriate. Please note that successful candidates will be expected to pay for the Enhanced Disclosure and registration with the Education Workforce Council.
- Three GCSEs at Grade C (incuding English and Maths) or equivalent.
- NVQ level 2 in Information Technology or equivalent It is also essential that applicants have a very good knowledge of working with Excel spreadsheets. Applicants must have experience of working in an administrative/office environment with the ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with tact and discretion are also essential. Applications may be submitted in Welsh and will not be treated less favourably than applications submitted in English., Lecturing posts will require a teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE) or the willingness to attain one with a specified period of time. This will be a requirement under your contract of employment and EWC registration.
