We recognize that all learners have differing needs and our continued growth in student numbers pays testament to the high quality support we provide.

Learner support officers within the foundation team will support a range of students both within and outside of the classroom. These are varied roles where you can expect to work with learners with educational health and care plans or recognized special educational needs in areas such as maths, English, art and design, sports, sessions developing independent living skills... and more. no two days are the same.

We are a successful, community-focused FE College based in the East of England. We have a thriving foundation learning support team and in recent years, the department has grown from strength to strength. We offer an incredible training package and a chance to work within tight knit and supportive teams.

We offer an excellent package including a generous annual leave allowance of 30 days per year for support staff, plus five College closure days, plus Bank Holidays (pro-rata for part-time and included in salary for term-time work as leave is deemed to be taken during college closure periods), fee waivers on some College courses, a contributory pension scheme with the Local Government Pension Scheme, discounts with local businesses and access to a cycle to work scheme.
