Full Job Description

Sutton High School is looking for a well-qualified Learning Assistant to provide support to students in our EYFS classes.

As a Learning Assistant, you will play a complementary and supporting role to the teacher by encouraging pupils in their learning and acquisition of skills. There may also be opportunities to work with other year groups outside of EYFS.

This is a full-time, term-time only role, working 08:00am to 16:00pm, Monday to Friday. Additional opportunities to provide support during school or after-school hours may also be available e.g. school trips.

You will be an empathetic and personable individual, who is able to relate well to children through strong active listening and communication skills. You will possess a recognised teaching assistant qualification to NVQ Level 3 and will have previous experience of supporting children in a learning environment.
