Full Job Description

As our Administration Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of a wide range of vocational, community, and leisure courses. You will be the main point of contact for the public, providing information on course content, fees, and schedules. Additionally, you will ensure that Learning Centre rooms are prepared for courses, meetings, and events. Your role will include managing mailboxes, facilitating class cover arrangements, handling cash and credit card transactions, and assisting in marketing efforts.

The successful candidate will organise induction sessions, monitor enrolments, assist with assessments, and maintain student records, ensuring a seamless experience for both students and staff. You will also oversee exams held at the centre and help keep the centre clean and report any facility issues, ensuring a welcoming and functional environment for all.

· Thetford Learning Centre, West Suffolk College, Charles Burrell Centre, Staniforth Rd, Thetford IP24 3LH

· Casual contract (approximately 1 evening a week) - approximately 5.30pm - 9.15pm Tuesdays (Term-Time)

· Fixed Term until 31/07/2025

· Salary: £11.98 per hour
