Full Job Description

WHAT YOU'LL DO The role will play a pivotal role in designing and developing masterclasses, self-paced learning, exercises, role plays, simulations etc. The role will apply learning science and adult learning principles to create learner journeys, content, and relevant activities to help improve learner experience and knowledge retention. The role will be required to keep an eye on evolving content and update the curriculum accordingly. It will also review deliverables to ensure that the deliverable quality is as per the project quality parameters and industry standards. The role will use latest tools and technologies to bring efficiencies and accuracy to the development process. The role will design standards, guidelines, templates, and checklists for BCG U's content library to ensure coherence across solutions. It will also be responsible for leading specific learning design related initiatives within BCG U. The role will have direct reports and will be responsible for their growth and development throughout the year. The role works closely with the Learning Architects, Program Managers, subject matter experts, and members of client case teams in developing content, content customizations to client use cases and context, as well as upgrading & updating the existing curriculum. Strong instructional design, problem-solving, relationship building skills, and experience in learning program development are essential. The ability to adapt new, emerging technologies and integrating them into the everyday work is also critical for success in this role. In addition, the ability to work independently as well as with multiple stakeholders is required. Experience in building content in NovoEd and SCORM-based content is preferred but not required. The role will support in the development of in-person/virtual sessions alongside self-paced content. The role will monitor and report on the usage, satisfaction, and overall success of the program. The role will support the successful delivery of programs, on need basis.YOU'RE GOOD AT

  • Designing and developing engaging upskilling programs that align with business requirements and skill gaps using latest tools and technologies
  • Managing a team of instructional designers
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with constantly updating priorities
  • Engaging with and influencing senior stakeholders to gather content inputs and review feedback on the content being developed
  • Paying attention to details
  • Building trust-based relationships and networks across organizations to leverage their skills for content development & delivery
  • Collaborative problem-solving to meet quality and timelines
  • Verbal and written communication including with senior audiences
  • YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
  • 6 to 8+ years of Instructional design experience, with knowledge of learning science applied in adult learning
  • Experience in designing curriculums and assessments
  • Experience in developing Instructor Led Training (ILT), Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT), self-paced eLearning, Micro-learning, social learning
  • Experience with eLearning content authoring tools or with building content in NovoEd
  • Experience in using video creation and editing tools
  • Background in graphic and/or visual design is preferred
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Slack, Trello
  • Track-record of content development with SMEs in a highly matrixed environment
  • Experience in working in the global organizations
  • Should be a self starter, with enterpreniual skills
