Learning Designer

Southampton Solent's Learning Designers are responsible for guiding and supporting colleagues in the development of innovative and effective learning and teaching activities and learning content. As such, the role of the Learning Designer is pivotal in the delivery of an engaging, high quality, professional and flexible learning experience, both on our VLE and in our classrooms.

You will be fully conversant with the scholarship and pedagogies of engaging learning and teaching, the use of appropriate technologies to enhance learning and teaching, have a good understanding of accessibility in this context and be engaged with the wider community for inspiration, collaborative research and dissemination of good practice. You will be actively involved in scholarship already, or willing to become involved.

The role will be flexibly delivered, with Tuesday and Wednesday in the office and the option of the third day working from home.
