Full Job Description

We are looking for a Learning and Development (L&D) Administrative Support Apprentice to join our L&D team at the Regulator of Social Housing, for a fantastic apprenticeship opportunity.
The role will provide high quality administrative support to the team, whilst working towards a Level 3 apprenticeship in Business Administration. This role can be based in either Manchester or Leeds.
At the Regulator of Social Housing, we are in a period of change and transformation as from 1st April we have extended our remit, giving us additional powers and responsibilities around the importance of safe, decent homes for social housing tenants and of social housing landlords being transparent and accountable to their tenants. As a result, this is a great time to join us and help us shape the organisation., In this role you will provide effective and professional administrative support to the L&D team. This will include supporting the team to deliver objectives around training, digital design, room and training booking, planning and skills matrix data. You will act as a first point of contact for the team, answering queries and will provide reports around training uptake and data. You will support with course bookings and administer attendance records, as well as supporting the team with the rollout of cyclical learning plans.
The regulator is procuring a new learning system and will be developing a range of digital content to future proof the organisations learning options. This role will develop you in aspects of digital design, online content creation and best practice learning.

As the successful candidate you will have some previous experience in an administrative or customer service role, as well as a strong interest in learning and development. You should have excellent attention to detail, with a friendly and professional approach to customer service and will be able to demonstrate a can-do attitude and creative thinking., Successful candidates must undergo a criminal record check.

Location
We operate a hybrid model of working with a mix of office and home working.
This role can be based out of RSH’s offices in Manchester or Leeds. Our Manchester office will be relocating during 2024/25, however will remain within the city centre. We offer a range of flexible working arrangements and staff can benefit from working from home for part of their hours. Most roles involve some travel within England between our offices, with some roles also involving onsite visits to social housing providers.

The salary for this role is a spot salary within the given range, which will normally be the minimum of the range. There is no incremental progression through a pay scale. Annual salary reviews are determined by the government pay award. In addition, when the probation period is successfully completed, a performance related bonus may be awarded, based on appraisal ratings at the end of the qualifying appraisal year.
