Full Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Learning and Development Business Partner to join our Human Resources team in London. In this strategic role, you will be instrumental in driving the development, implementation, and analysis of training programs that enhance the skills and capabilities of our teams. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our employees, ensuring they are equipped to meet the demands of a dynamic and evolving industry.

In this role, you will work closely with the Gabon-based Learning & Capability Analyst, the wider group, and the Gabon-based HR team. Your collaboration will be key in driving the learning and capability development agenda across the organization, ensuring alignment with the broader business strategy.,

  • Training Program Development: Design and implement comprehensive training programs tailored to the specific needs of various roles within the organization, aligning them with business goals and objectives.

  • Skills Gap Analysis: Conduct regular skills gap analyses to identify areas for employee development and recommend appropriate training solutions that address these gaps.

  • Training Delivery and Facilitation: Organize and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars, collaborating with external trainers and consultants as needed to deliver impactful learning experiences.

  • Evaluation and Reporting: Develop and implement metrics to assess the effectiveness of training programs. Gather feedback from participants and report on training outcomes and return on investment (ROI) to senior management.

  • Continuous Learning Culture: Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development, encouraging employees to engage in online courses, certifications, and other learning opportunities that contribute to their career growth.

  • Compliance and Record Keeping: Ensure that all training programs comply with industry regulations and standards. Maintain accurate records of training activities and track participant progress to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

    Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Learning and Development role, preferably within the oil and gas industry OR alternatively extensive technical background (Production, Drilling, Maintenance, Geosciences, etc.) with a passion for learning and knowledge transfer

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing effective training programs.

  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and techniques.

  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to analyze data and assess training needs.

  • Proficient in using Learning Management Systems (LMS).

  • Proficiency in French would be extremely beneficial but not essential.
