Full Job Description

Responsible for all services provided and delivered by L&D Admin Staff team. Ensure all customers' needs are met whilst promoting an efficient and professional image of the L&D.
To act as point of contact with Defence School of Policing and Security (DSPS) administration team and provide first means of resolving booking conflicts between DSPS and MDP.
Liaise with the Training Managers, in order that course nominations and training requirements are sustained.
Oversee the booking of travel arrangements (Air, Rail and Hotel) for staff (if required) and students within the L&D Portfolio, ensuring journeys are official and in line with Policy.
To oversee ePC Requester/Receiver holders within department, in compliance with departmental policy, ensuring request for purchase is fully justified and an audit trail maintained.
Responsible for collation of business management data (SMAP, Bi-Lats, Business Plan etc) for the L&D Portfolio on a quarterly basis and attendance of meetings. Forward to Deputy Head of L&D for consideration prior to submission.
To oversee collation of data, issuance, and management of MDP laptops, ACTO stores, uniform and any other items issued to recruits
To act as point of contact for external customers, confirming bookings, issuing quotes, tours of facilities and sending invoices to finance once the event has taken place.
Provide effective line management for two E1 grades. Dealing with staff issues, performance management, delegation, morale and welfare in accordance with Policy, Rules & Guidance.
