Full Job Description
We're currently looking to recruit a Learning & Development (L&D) Coordinator to join our Kier Transportation L&D Team. This role is to carry out the Learning and Development Function on the contract ensuring the contract employees are safe, legal and have the correct skills and qualifications for the role they are carrying out. You'll assist with the development of the skillset in the contract by engagement events and working closer with the corporate teams., As a Learning & Development Coordinator, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Ensuring compliance training is delivered to our people across the contract in the most cost effective and efficient way.
- Administration and overseeing of activities directly related to Highways Passport, whilst embedding and driving the system forward to become best practice and industry leading.
- Maintaining the contract matrix and ensuring all employees training/qualifications and skills are current.
- Assisting with engagement sessions with the advisors on the contract to help employees see the development opportunities for them.
- Building relationships with managers and leadership teams on the contract to embed the learning and development and the upskilling of our employees.
- Assisting with general contract administration.
Previous experience within a similar role or general administration position. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organisational and attention to detail skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong MS Office skills, in particular Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
