Full Job Description

As the department manager you will be responsible for a nursing establishment of over 30 members of staff and need to build close working relationships with the wider multiprofessional team.

We require excellent communication skills to facilitate safe operational management of the services provided.

You will be responsible for the clinical governance of your area, ensuring patient and staff safety and always striving for a high quality patient experience.

Weston Endoscopy Unit is a JAG accredited unit. You will be required to work closely with the JAG Lead nurse to ensure all quality measures are achieved in order to maintain accreditation status.

You will work closely with the other Trust endoscopy sites including the Day Surgery and Endoscopy Unit team at South Bristol Community Hospital and the Queens Day Unit at the Bristol Royal Infirmary.
