Are you excited to kick-start your career in learning and development with the opportunity to work alongside a busy Learning & Development Team? We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Learning & Development Coordinator. As part of this role you will be enrolled onto an Apprenticeship course to help further your development. This role is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. Your Role In this role you will be responsible for the overall coordination, monitoring, and administration of all training and development tasks for all departments across Peel Ports Group, as well as assisting with other HR administrative requirements related to the department activities and tasks. You will ensure the rostering and planning of training, liaising with internal and external parties to ensure training is successfully booked, attended and tracked. You will act as a key point of contact for managers and delegates, proactively responding to queries via a range of channels, and using the learning management system to efficiently complete all activities. You will also be enrolled on a Level 3 L&D practitioner apprenticeship to grow and expand our L&D knowledge.
You will have a keen interest in a career within learning and development, ideally with some experience in a customer focused environment. You will be able to prioritise effectively and work to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment and have a positive approach to working collaboratively as part of a team. You will be naturally confident with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), and the ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will have a minimum 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) grade 5 or above including Mathematics and English, with strong IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office, (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,Outlook).
