Full Job Description

Working as part of our MLS Team, leading an L&D team on delivering excellent customer service. The MLS Learning and Development Manager will work with Sopra Steria ADS delivery teams to facilitate and provide a managed learning service on behalf of MLS for ADS. The role will be required to provide a holistic training approach and will include liaising with ADS workforce planners, client directors, ADS CoE Leads and external training suppliers. The L&D Manager will play a key role in centralising training pathways, streamlining training processes and providing MI reporting to key stakeholders. Stakeholder management will be crucial in leading the expansion to promote an established service, driving through benefits and value add in ultimately enhancing training journeys for ADS staff. The role will be UK mobile with a view to being accessible to team meetings across our sites. What you will be doing:

  • Lead and develop the MLS admin team, to be known for their innovative, accessible, outcome and customer focused blended learning and development solutions who contribute to the overall success of the wider ADS account teams.
  • Design and deliver L&D delivery strategy in partnership with key customers.
  • Ensure full utilisation of key L&D tools and systems to ensure training/development days are increased.
  • Measure and report to all levels of management and group the roadmap and utilisation of training and development.
  • Make sure key roadmap to support L&D programmes is documented and delivered against.
  • Drive engagement and a customer service programme through ADS in line with the MLS Services model.
  • Produce and maintain training plans which highlight on cost efficiencies.
  • Analyse data regarding training and skills data, providing recommendations for improvement
  • Take responsibility for targeted internal communications regarding L&D materials and Operational support.
  • Work alongside Internal teams to understand strategies for upcoming requirements and support.
  • Be a proactive member of the MLS team, contributing to team initiatives and projects and providing support to peers.

  • Experience working in a HR or L&D function
  • Previous experience designing and delivering an L&D delivery strategy
  • Experience delivering effective outcomes supported by key metrics
