Full Job Description

The Estée Lauder Companies is currently recruiting for a Learning and Development Practitioner (Intern) within the Human Resources department on a 13-month placement opportunity to join an experienced and committed team at Whitman Laboratories whereas a site we manufacture around a fifth of Estée Lauder's global sales output. The Learning and Development Practitioner (Intern) provides a professional, proactive service to support workforce development at Estée Lauder's UK Manufacturing Site, Whitman Laboratories. Working collaboratively within the HR department, this role plays a vital part in ensuring the seamless coordination of training and development initiatives. This position offers successful candidates' exposure to the full spectrum of Learning and Development (L&D) functions and serves as a key contributor to enhancing employee growth and organisational capability. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Organise and book training courses to support employee skill development.
  • Facilitate training sessions, including new starter inductions.
  • Manage L&D-related administrative tasks such as submitting purchase orders and maintaining accurate training records.
  • Handle evaluation forms and analyse feedback to ensure continuous improvement of training programs.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external training providers.
  • Actively support broader Learning and Development initiatives and projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently and aligned with business goals.

    Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, strong administration experience, strong IT skills; MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. Confidentiality, ability to have tack and diplomacy with all levels of employee, Strong written and aural communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines, Presentation skills. Consider themselves to have personable characteristics.
