Full Job Description

The Global Partner Program Office maintains and develops the Hitachi Vantara Partner Program, including its facilities and platforms, to continuously improve our partners' experience across all regions and support our indirect sales teams. One of the key responsibilities is the provision of sales and presales learning and enablement for partners. The primary audience is resellers and distributors but also includes global system integrators and other partner types.

What you will be doing:

You will manage and drive learning and enablement for Hitachi Vantara partners across the globe, in a role that is a mix of both strategic and hands on execution. You will be working alongside multiple Hitachi teams, leveraging your experience to identify partner learning and enablement needs, then develop the training paths that will equip partner sales and presales with the skills they need. You will also manage the creation of select training courses, working with associated subject matter experts (SMEs).
Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and developing the online Learning Management System (LMS) partner structure and materials for access, internally and externally.

  • Working cross functionally, to construct partner education roadmaps, aligned to Hitachi Vantara technologies, for sales and presales.

  • Design and build custom training as required through assembly of materials delivered by stakeholders and SMEs, packaged for eLearning or instructor-led learning.

  • Assist in the coordination of key training events and provide training consumption tracking/reporting as required.

  • Ownership of the partner sales/presales accreditations and certifications process - driving partner program compliance.

  • Coordinate stakeholder communications for training programs, to support product and solution launches and ongoing partner sales motions.

    Significant experience in a sales and/or presales training, sales enablement, or other learning management role.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills supported by first class written and verbal communication.

  • Creative and independent problem solving with the ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and especially Excel). Cornerstone or other LMS experience would be beneficial.

  • Self-motivated, ambitious, and proactive.

  • Detail oriented with effective time management skills, organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects/tasks while meeting deadlines
