Join our team as a Learning Mentor at Charter Academy We are looking for a dedicated, empathetic Learning Mentor to support and inspire students in a highly deprived primary school setting. This is a unique opportunity to work with children facing social, emotional, and behaviour challenges, helping them to unlock their full potential and thrive in school. As a Learning Mentor, you will work closely with pupils on a one-to-one and small group basis, providing tailored support to improve their confidence, engagement, and emotional well-being. You'll also collaborate with teachers, families, and external agencies to create a nurturing environment that encourages positive behaviour and learning. You would be joining an enthusiastic team focused on providing great opportunities for learning for all our pupils. Charter Academy has a great deal to be proud of. We have excellent premises which enable us to provide an outstanding personal development curriculum, including Forest School and after school sports clubs. Experience in education, mentoring, or youth work is preferred, along with a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic and thriving school environment.
Permanent Grade 4 - £25,183 - £28,624) per annum (FTE) (£21,853- £24,839 pro rata to hours and weeks worked) Monday to Thursday 08.30am to 4.30pm and Friday 9.00am to 4.30pm (37 hours per week, term time only plus teacher training days, 39 weeks).,
