About the role…

You will be based on our busy reception desk, helping learners and staff navigate the centre and you will take a lead in coordinating the centre activities. You will be an experienced administrator in a business or educational setting, with knowledge of inputting and collecting information from IT systems alongside delivering outstanding customer care to learners, employers, parents, partners and stakeholders through effective written and oral communication.

You will contribute to the effective running of our learning venues by providing excellent information, advice and guidance that enable learners and employers to make informed decisions. You will enrol learners onto their courses, arrange payments where required and be responsible for other financial operations, such as payment of bursaries, support funds and grants.

You will also coordinate curriculum specific information, including qualification registration, certification, assessments and exams. You will accurately operate a variety of internal and external IT and financial systems, which will involve following, reviewing and updating procedures relating to your line or work. In addition, you will support managers and operational staff with information requests and queries.

You will have a level 2 apprenticeship or qualification in a related area or similar and be willing to work towards a level 1 qualification in information, advice and guidance. You will also have knowledge of business and educational procedures and know how to use Microsoft Office.

You'll be paid a competitive salary £23,893 to £24,294 pa
