Full Job Description
We are looking for talented, dedicated individuals to work as Learning Support Assistants, across our school network. The roles will be based in the following school locations:
Borough (Southwark), Bromley, Crayford (Kent) and Lewisham.
About the role
We are seeking dedicated, empathetic individuals to work as part of the Learning Support Team and deliver high quality support to SEN students in order for them to make good progress in school. Working under the direction of the SENDCo, you will be responsible for providing effective, high-quality SEN support in-class, under the direction of the class teacher.
The role is term time only, 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Working hours will be negotiable for the right candidate but will need to suit the needs of the School.
Essential application requirements:
+ GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above (or equivalent)
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Previous experience of delivering interventions for students with SEN
+ Extensive knowledge of special educational needs and how to support students who struggle to learn for a variety of reasons
