Headteacher's Welcome

Thank you for your interest in applying for a position at Harrytown Catholic High School. This is an exciting time for our school as we build on a strong foundation of academic achievement and pastoral care.

At Harrytown, we are committed to providing an excellent education rooted in faith. Our close ties with local parishes help foster a strong sense of spirituality, encouraging our students to grow in faith and character. Our dedicated staff work tirelessly to ensure that each child receives the very best support, both academically and pastorally. The staff challenge students to achieve academic success while offering strong pastoral care and a wide range of extracurricular opportunities to enrich their school experience.

We pride ourselves on being a welcoming and inclusive school, where students are encouraged to become resilient, well-rounded individuals, ready for the next stage of their journey. A key strength of our school is the sense of family, strengthened by the strong partnerships we build with parents and carers.

With a rich history dating back to 1913, when the Sisters of Charity of Our Lady of Evron founded the school, we are proud of our core values: service, humility, simplicity, charity, and unity. These values, passed down from the Sisters, are at the heart of everything we do, guiding both staff and students each day. We encourage the children to demonstrate these values and to use them as a guide for how they live their lives.

I invite you to visit Harrytown and discover more about our school, where our students remain at the centre of all we do.
