Learning Support Assistant - Fixed Term

To become a Learning Support Assistant in our Specialist Learning Support department, we need someone who is passionate, supportive, and flexible. This is a temporary role.

The successful candidate will have the chance to acquire new skills and develop their abilities in a wide range of activities.

Although this position is centred on our Bromsgrove campus, all applicants must be prepared to travel to our other campuses or surrounding areas as required., To find a more detailed list of your day-to-day responsibilities, please refer to the key roles and accountabilities section on our Job Description. In summary, as someone who has Level 2 (at least) qualification in both Maths and English, or a willingness to gain, you will support in many aspects. To name a few:

You will assist students in the classroom with understanding the activities set by the tutor. As well as supporting with spelling, punctuation, and mathematics.

To support College attendance, retention and achievement strategies by providing a high-quality pro-active support service to learners who have learning support requirements.

To ensure that all learners receiving support achieve as well as their peers and develop independent learning skills.
