Full Job Description

We're seeking to appoint a Support Assistant with experience of supporting pupils with special educational needs; to assist with their learning and personal development. You will work to establish positive relationships, empathising with the needs of our pupils whilst helping to manage behaviour.

  • Experience of providing in-class support for pupils with learning difficulties and an understanding of their curricular needs.
  • An ability to collaborate and communicate with others to provide appropriate pupil support.
  • The ability to empathise with the needs of young people and establish positive relationships.

    The opportunity is part time, 28 hours per week, and term time only plus 5 training days. The post is fixed term to cover maternity until 31st August 2025, to start as soon as possible.
