Full Job Description
We are looking for Learning Support Assistants to join the Skills for Life team, providing a wide range of programmes for students with learning difficulties and or disabilities.
As a key part of this specialist team, the successful candidates will be supporting the delivery of outstanding personalised learning opportunities within the college and guiding the learners through work placements. We want people who can assist learners to experience all aspects of College and work life.
You will need to be flexible, working well as part of a team to support the provision for learners within Skills for Life, as well as those attending through our links with local schools.
The successful candidates will have an understanding and experience of working with students who have diverse special learning needs.
Working with a range of students, a high standard of communication and interpersonal skills is essential. These roles require proactive professionals who can work with the teaching team to remove potential barriers and support the learner assessment process., Disability Confident

This role is a part time role working 30 hours a week, term time only at our New Bedford Road Campus. The position is fixed term starting from January 2025 until end of June 2025.
