Full Job Description
- To work under the supervision and guidance of the tutor with students with mild/moderate and complex learning difficulties and disabilities within the Horizons area
- To work with the ALS Manager, LSP& EHCP Coordinator, Lead LSPs and SENCO in advising teaching staff on appropriate strategies for working with students with learning difficulties and disabilities and complex needs
- To provide one-to-one and group support, both direct and indirect, for students with learning difficulties and disabilities following foundation courses, primarily in the learning environment
A level 2 or above qualification or equivalent in relevant subject area. - Proficient IT skills
- Level 2 English & Maths or equivalent
- Experience of providing effective coaching for students on an individual basis or in a group setting to support success and progression
- Demonstrate an ability to support, monitor and track the learner progress including attendance, behaviour, and completion of vocational activity
- Understanding of academic and vocational education in a College setting.
- Demonstrate a commitment to raising the attainment and self esteem of all students

You will join us on a term-time only basis (38 weeks per year), and in return, we will offer a competitive salary of £24,853-£26,882 pa inc London Weighting (to be pro rata'd to contracted hours, 38wpy)
