Full Job Description

Are you a highly motivated and inspirational individual with a passion for supporting learners with specific learning differences, mental health difficulties, or disabilities? South Staffordshire College is looking for a dedicated Learning Support Practitioner to join our dynamic Learning Support department.

You will plan, develop and monitor strategies for our learners, that require additional support to achieve their career and learning goals. Also providing advice and guidance for our teachers to deliver inclusive lessons for individuals with additional support needs.

You will be a strong team player with a real desire to help young people and adults. Previous experience working in an education setting supporting people with specific learning differences and or disabilities is essential.

What you can expect from us - We care about your wellbeing so have a number of activities all year that provide support. However, time off is also important. We have a generous holiday scheme, the usual Bank Holidays, an additional 5 days at Christmas and 2 'ME' days (where you can have a day off work and do whatever makes you happy) as well as an additional day on campus spent on wellbeing.
