Learning Support Practitioner (LSP) SEN - Term Time - Special Needs Position

Are you an enthusiastic and experienced SEN Learning Support Practitioner? Can you support our learners with SEN one-to-one and as groups in the classroom and practical workshops? We are looking to appoint a learning support practitioner to work across all vocational areas of the College including Motor Vehicle, Construction, Hair & Beauty, ICT, Independent Living Skills and Functional Skills as well as other classroom-based study programmes and therefore, must have some experience within these areas. KITE College is an Independent Specialist Post-16 College in Sittingbourne, providing specialist education and vocational training for young people with SEND including ASD and SEMH. • Support young people aged 16-25 with learning difficulties, including ASD and SEMH, with their vocational programmes to achieve their full potential
• Provide support on a 1:1 basis, or as a group as required
• Support teaching staff in training on a range of topics and tasks relevant to the curriculum
• Provide pastoral support and care
• Help prepare and provide learning resources and equipment to deliver the curriculum
