We have an exciting 12-month fixed term opportunity for an individual looking to make a real difference to the lives of residents and communities across Wales. As our Leasehold Officer, you will support our two award-winning companies to make a real difference to people's lives, homes and communities across Wales. What will you be doing? As a Leasehold Officer, you will provide a high quality, efficient and effective leasehold management service to residents living in our retirement schemes. The schemes are all leasehold and independent living which makes it different. It's a busy and dynamic role that is challenging and dealing with lots of people, primarily our residents along with contractors and solicitors, at a fast pace. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to expand their knowledge in a social housing environment and venture into the world of leasehold.     To succeed in this role, you will have a genuine passion and interest in what we do as an organisation. You will need a demonstrable track record of working within a housing or similar relevant environment. This role could perhaps suit someone with existing knowledge in the sector and looking to expand and develop their skills or perhaps from a conveyancer admin role or similar. The right candidate will need to be resilient, organised, customer focused and willing to learn really quickly. To help us deliver an excellent service you will need to learn quickly to develop and show your understanding and knowledge of leasehold procedures, we will provide some intensive training, but you need to bring the majority of transferable skills. You'll have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft and be able to learn new systems quickly. You will be confident at dealing with customers and managing accounts and budgets and ensuring the right decisions are made on behalf of the residents and within budget. You will have experience of managing a small team and the processes that go hand in hand with this. This coupled with excellent customer service skills and strong oral and written communication skills, working on your initiative to do the right thing for our residents will make you an ideal candidate to join the team. You will need to be a car user with a valid license and able to provide your own vehicle for business use. This post is being offered on a full time basis only.
