Full Job Description

  • To work as part of the Art and Design team in the curriculum development, organisation and delivery of high quality teaching and learning in the area of Art and Design.
  • To carry out formal scheduled teaching, tutorials and assessments. To include the preparation of learning materials, students' assignments and to support students in their studies both during scheduled teaching sessions and during periods of self-directed study.
  • Marking of students' work and examinations, internal moderation and verification, as part of the team.
  • To take a course leadership role in monitoring, reviewing and evaluation of all aspects of the programme(s).

    Degree in Art and Design.
  • Recognised teaching qualification.
  • Level 2 or above in literacy/English and numeracy/maths qualifications.
  • Current industry knowledge in the area of 3D Art including Fashion and textiles

    Wirral Metropolitan College is looking for a Lecturer with a specialism in Textiles/3D to join our Art Department. This is a 35 hours per week, full-time, permanent role offering a salary of £29,322 to £40,552 per annum.
