Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the planning, delivery and quality of Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools qualifications at Levels 2 & 3 and Childcare programmes from Entry 3 to Level 3. You may also contribute to other courses in related subject areas according to your qualifications and experience. A key part of the role will be to plan and undertake observations and assessments in the workplace as well as delivering knowledge-based units in the classroom. You will support learners in all aspects of their course and professional development.

You will have a relevant qualification in the field of Early Years Education at a minimum of Level 3 and a recognised teaching qualification. You will hold qualifications in English and maths to at least Level 2 and a relevant assessing qualification at Level 3 or above. You will have experience of working in a school environment and improving learners' literacy and numeracy skills in any age group. You will need to demonstrate a sound understanding of the scope and content of the Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools suite of qualifications, assessment and related quality assurance processes.
