Lecturer Coordinator - Step into Teaching

South West Durham Training is seeking to recruit a 1.0 Lecturer in Engineering who will be responsible for the effective and efficient teaching and coordination of courses within the relevant curriculum area.

Work with Bishop Auckland College to complete your full teaching qualification whilst gaining first-hand experience in the classroom. On successful completion of the course, you will become a qualified Lecturer Coordinator., The successful candidate will be required to possess a minimum of a level 3 qualification in relevant subject, Certificate in Education (to work towards within 2 years), Safeguarding Level 1 (to be achieved within 6 weeks), Level 2 in Literacy (or willing towards within 2 years) and Level 2 in Numeracy (or willing towards within 2 years).

Applicants will also have 3 years' experience of working in the industry. This role will include responsibilities within safeguarding and the postholder will be engaging in regulated activity.
