Full Job Description

Merton College are now seeking a Lecturer in L2 Hairdressing to lead the course team and be responsible for the delivery and development of the curriculum, with particular responsibility for a mixed age range group of students. Acting as a Course Leader and Personal Tutor, you'll assess students work as required by examining/awarding bodies and undertake an IV role for a cluster of courses. There is also a requirement to teach some L1 Business.

We're looking for someone who holds a degree or relevant professional qualifications in Hairdressing and who has excellent current teaching skills. We'd like you to have a strong background in a commercial environment and have experience of delivering NVQ and VRQ Hairdressing qualifications in an FE institution. An A1 Assessor or V1 Internal Verifier Award is advantageous.
