Full Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic qualified teacher with experience of teaching professional cookery skills that are required to work within the Hospitality and Catering industry., Please include a supporting statement outlining how your skills and relevant experience make you the perfect match for the role.

You will be educated to GCSE's C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent)

You will hold a teacher training qualification such as a PGCE or DTLLS, or the commitment to achieve this in a specified period.

You will hold an assessor and verifier qualification.

You will hold a minimum Level 3 or above Professional Cookery qualification or equivalent and have proven teaching experience in the underpinning theory related to Professional Cookery Levels 1-3.

Experience working within an FE or HE environment is essential.

We are looking to recruit a Chef Lecturer at Hertford Regional College to deliver the full range of professional units associated with programmes of teaching, learning, assessment, and student support.

Chef Lecturer - Full time, based at Broxbourne Campus - Monday - Friday (36 hours per week), Salary £31,225 - £39,425 per annum depending on qualifications and experience, Holiday Entitlement 42 Days per annum, Closing date 19th September 2024 @ Midday.
