Full Job Description
In conjunction with the Institut Ramon Llull, the Faculty are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Catalan to start on or as soon as possible after 1 September 2025. The Lecturer is responsible for planning and delivering language teaching in Catalan, including marking work and participating in oral examinations. The appointee will provide teaching in Catalan up to a maximum of 13 hours a week in each week of each term, and to undertake activities, run events to raise the profile of Catalan within the institution.
Applicants must possess: fluency in Catalan equivalent to native-speaker level; a good first degree in a relevant subject (language, literature, or linguistics); and experience in teaching the language as a foreign language in higher education.
