Full Job Description

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, highly motivated, and innovative Engineering Lecturer, who is committed to enhancing our students' achievement and experience at Southport College.

At Southport College we deliver a range of engineering programmes at various levels to 16 - 19, adult learners and apprentices. Programmes include full time programmes at L2 and L3 with T-Levels being introduced from September 2024 and a range of apprenticeship standards.

We are looking for a dynamic, innovative and enthusiastic individual who will bring a fresh approach to teaching and learning that will revitalise the experience for all students.

You will ideally have an advanced engineering qualification (or equivalent combined with previous experience of teaching engineering programmes), a teaching qualification, assessor/verifier awards, and will be committed to our students, your subject and the teaching profession. You will be able to deliver some of the following: T-level core units, mechanical workshop and fabrication.
