Lecturer in Functional Skills English
Salary: Up to £38,147

Burnley College are recruiting for an ambitious Lecturer in Functional Skills English to teach effectively on a range of programmes ensuring high achievement for all students.
The successful candidate will accurately assess and monitor student work and will have the ability to display excellent teaching skills, along with the knowledge of current issues in Further Education relating to the curriculum area.
A recognised teaching qualification is not essential for this role, Lecturers can be supported through a mentoring system and staff development programmes to develop their classroom practice and the College has an excellent Staff Development programme where a recognised teaching qualification can be gained.
The salary for this post is up to £38,147.
