Full Job Description

This includes conducting face-to-face lessons, as well as delivering online lessons via Microsoft Teams in both maths and occasional English. The successful candidate will be required to follow a set curriculum, lead teaching workshops, and provide 1-1 support to students.,

  • Deliver engaging and interactive Maths lessons to students at various skill levels.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
  • Create and implement effective lesson plans based on the curriculum requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops to support students in improving their Maths skills.
  • Provide individualized support and feedback to students through 1-1 sessions.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the overall learning experience.

    A relevant teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, DET, or equivalent).
  • Experience teaching Functional Skills Maths and potentially English at various levels.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Familiarity with online teaching platforms such as Microsoft Teams.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Passion for helping students achieve their full potential.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing educational needs and environments.
