Full Job Description

Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Lecturer in Health and Social Care, ideally holding a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care, a T Level in Health, or both. This is a unique opportunity to inspire and shape the future of students entering the health and social care sector by delivering engaging, high-quality instruction in both practical and theoretical aspects of the field.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

As a vital member of the Health and Social Care team, your key responsibilities will include:

Delivering inclusive, high-standard teaching, learning, and assessment in Health and Social Care.
Contributing to curriculum design and ongoing quality improvement within the department.
Assisting in student recruitment efforts, including conducting interviews, providing Initial Advice and Guidance (IAG), and participating in Open Days.
Supporting student progress and success through effective tracking systems and developmental support.
Engaging in ongoing professional development to ensure current subject knowledge and familiarity with both digital and in-person teaching methods.
