Southport College is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated Lecturer / Assessor to join our Hospitality and Catering department. In this role, you will be integral in shaping the future of our students by teaching and assessing on a range of full-time Hospitality programmes. Your responsibilities will include delivering practical skills training in our Restaurant environment, facilitating engaging theory sessions in the classroom, and assessing learner progress through their qualifications. The role requires flexibility, as classes are delivered both during the day and in the evening, based on an agreed timetable. To be considered for this position, you must hold a minimum Level 3 competency qualification in Hospitality/Catering and have recent, relevant vocational experience in the Hospitality and Catering industry, with a strong background in front-of-house roles. Proven experience in delivering Hospitality qualifications is essential, along with a passion for educating and mentoring students.
