Full Job Description

As a Lecturer in one of the largest providers of nurse education in the UK, you will be working with a vibrant community of academics, practitioners and researchers with a commitment to providing high quality, research-informed teaching, to ensure active learning.You will join a team of academic practitioners, innovating, teaching and supporting student nurses across the undergraduate and postgraduate curricula. You will also support a range of post-registration teaching to registrants accessing our CPD portfolio, alongside opportunities to be involved in research and project work. You will be involved with supporting students, linking with our practice partners, and engaging with the research agenda.You will need:The ability to design and deliver transformative and innovative learning experiences.Knowledge and understanding of critical, practical, and theoretical issues relevant to Learning disability nursing and the health and social care agenda., Experience of teaching, training or, To teach and support students by taking a learner-centred approach in line with the Universitys learning, teaching and assessment strategy.

To contribute to curriculum development and delivery, research and other forms of scholarly activity as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
